Cancellation Policy for Multi-Day Classes and Trips

A deposit is required at the time of registration. Full Payment is expected at least two weeks prior to the trip. Multi-Day trips and courses may be cancelled up to two weeks prior. Less than 2 weeks, a 50% refund will be offered. No refund is available within 48 hours of the start of the class or trip unless Island Ford Adventures cancels due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions. If Island Ford Adventures cancels a trip, a full refund will be provided.

Cancellation Policy for Single-Day Hikes, Classes & Workshops

Full payment is required at the time of registration. Single-day hikes and classes may be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the start of the hike/class. A cancellation within 24 hours from the start of the class/trip in not eligible for a refund. If Island Ford Adventures cancels a trip, a full refund will be provided.

Weather Policy

Island Ford Adventures runs trips and programs rain, snow or shine. If, in the rare event, a trip is canceled by Island Ford Adventures due to unsafe conditions (lightening, flooding, etc) a full refund will be offered. Weather conditions can change rapidly and vary widely from one place to another in the forest. We will not make a decision about weather-related conditions until we are on site and ready to start a hike or trip. We also reserve the right to delay the start of a hike up to one hour, or change the location, to seek improved conditions.
